The ‘V for Thailand’ or infamously called the “White Mask” group has announced their decision to temporarily halt their planned rallies. The group has proven to be ineffective in garnering a united stand on their issues. The white mask robbers made the Thai news, splashed across the newspapers and local media. Bangkokians are concerned about the connection between the criminals and the “Guy Fawkes” demonstrators despite the denials of politicians.
Democracy is about the just rule of the majority in an accountable system of governance but in spite of that the White Mask demonstrators are calling to ignore the results of the 2011 elections and in the hope to install their own “rule by the minority” concept of administration.
