The group has proven to be ineffective in garnering a united stand on their issues. Democracy is about the just rule of the majority in an accountable system of governance but in spite of that the White Mask demonstrators are calling to ignore the results of the 2011 elections and in the hope to install their own “rule by the minority” concept of administration.
A procession, consisting of about 500 communists and “Yellow Shirt” demonstrators, marched through the streets of Bangkok in their brown uniforms and submitted a petition to the Palace of His Majesty the King of Thailand.
