Immigration officials insisted on Monday the order to expel Indian businessman Sathit Sehgal over his alleged involvement in anti-government activities was based on legal principles.
While former Democrat Party MP and PDRC chief, Mr. Suthep, and his neo-fascist allies cry foul of the immigration’s decision, what many don’t realise is this has been standard policy when Mr. Suthep was the Deputy Prime Minister. He took similar stands on threatening foreigners with deportation during the violent army crackdown in Bangkok of 2010.
So why are the members of PDRC lashing at the present decision of the immigration? Unless PDRC and Democrat Party want the agency to practice double standards.
