Suthep Thaugsuban’s pet cheerleader, Ms. Chitpas has been the center of controversy for the disgraced Democrat Party and her family. She is the daughter of a respectable tycoon but has tarnished the family’s name.
Mr. Jutinan Bhirombhakdi was quoted by the Bangkok Post (23 December 2013) to have been disappointed by his daughter’s actions. He said,
My wife and I and Ms Chitpas have discussed this for a while and agree that [she should] change her surname.
Yesterday, Chitpas posted on her Instagram that she found a policeman’s name tag. The Singha heiress and Bangkok socialite who studied since childhood in a privileged school in England, asked the policeman to locate her at the protest site if he wanted the name tag back. After months of PDRC violence against policemen, how can Chitpas truly expect a policeman to walk up to her in the heart of PDRC hatred for the law enforcers and retrieve his name tag? Why don’t she return the tag to the nearest police station or ask her personal assistants to do it for her? Is Chitpas taunting the police?
