Willingness to move on

Only if we adhere to the principle of forgiveness and reconciliation can the country move forward. Amicable talks can lead to a way out of the impasse.

In the spirit of national peace and humanity, Yingluck has called on all sides for compassion. She said this after meeting families of the fallen in the crackdown of 2010. The families are supporting a highly debated Amnesty Bill which in turn is challenged by political groups and neo-fascist leagues.

If the Government does nothing, the country will slip back to the same circle of violence.
