Prime Minister of Thailand Yingluck Shinawatra will arrive in Pakistan on a two-day official visit on Tuesday (August 20). According to the Foreign Office, this bilateral visit of Thai Prime Minister on the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, will take place after more than a decade.
The Thai Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising cabinet members, officials and businessmen. During her stay in Pakistan, the Thai dignitary will call on President Asif Ali Zardari. She will hold official talks with Prime Minister Sharif, who will host a banquet in her honour.
During the visit, an agreement and two memorandums of understanding will be signed. The Thai business delegation will hold separate meetings with their Pakistani counterparts on August 20.
