Today, the violence caused by the demonstrators of the “People’s Army” movement were caught on video.
At 7:00 pm on Sunday August 4, 2013, there was an argument among the members of the People’s Army. The incident took place outside of Lumpini Park, where people came close to exchanging blows. An elderly woman scolded the men and that prevented the situation from growing worse.
Even though the Government exercised the Internal Security Act (ISA) in the wake of the People’s Army rally, the protesters were not prevented from exercising their democratic right to assemble in peace.
