24-hr Hotline for Thailand’s One Stop Crisis Centre

24-hr Hotline for One Stop Crisis Centre

A One Stop Crisis Centre (OSCC) will be set up to take complaints from the people around the clock, new Social Development and Human Security Minister Pavena Hongsakula said on Monday.

Pavena said it will be her first priority when she starts work in her new job.

The OSCC will be an extension of her work at the Pavena Hongsakula Foundation in helping children, women, the elderly and the disabled, she said.

Her emphasis will be on solving human trafficking problems, particularly those involving beggars.

Pavena said the centre will go on the offensive and its achievements will be assessed once every three months.
