Suranand Shouldn’t Entertain the Democrat’s Lie

Suranand Vejjajiva doesn’t have leave his position as the Secretary-General within the Prime Minister’s Office. He was accused by the Democrat Party of allegedly obstructing the USA Today interview with the Opposition leader, Abhisit Vejjajiva.

The Democrat Party is demanding that one of the prime minister’s top strategists resign for allegedly trying to block a US media interview with Democrat Leader Abhisit Vejjajiva.

Suranand has denied the Democrats’ claims, saying the opposition had tried to distort the facts and discredit the Government.

The local and foreign news have been both favorable and critical of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her Government. If the accusation is true, then why has Suranand not influence the press and media in the past to deliver positive news about the Government?

Because Suranand does not and will not control the foreign and local media, that is why.

The Democrat Party is bankrupted of legitimate issues, so they rather use blank ammunition to attack and discredit the Government. Rather than prioritize eradicating corruption within the political party and improving quality of life for the Thai society, the Democrats are occupied in spreading with scandalous distortions of their imagination.

Liberty is being nurtured by the Government and growing at the pace of the Thai people. Before Yingluck became the Prime Minister in 2011, the Abhisit’s Government had shown no respect to the independence of journalism while a journalist was killed and another injured during the crackdown of the Red Shirt demonstrators – all thanks to Abhisit who gave the instructions to send the military into the capital city.
