Yingluck Shinawatra conducted a walkabout at Bangkapi wet market. The Prime Minister went to inspect the food prices and took the time to speak to the fruit and vegetable sellers. Many of the traders were surprised and delighted to see Yingluck taking time off from her busy schedule to visit and talk.
The Government is concerned about prices of food, accessibility and affordability. Yingluck’s visit is part of her people-orientated socio-economic pledges, as she wants to see the materialization of an improved quality of life.
