This was reported in the Bangkok Post: “The Pheu Thai Party’s leading members are pushing for new proposals to amend the constitution that could spark fresh controversy.”
1. I cannot completely rely on some of the English news in Thailand. Some of the writers are so emotional. And they are paid a salary to be drag-queens on the press!
2. PT party is part of the lawful government elected by the Thai people. They have a right to propose their issues as they command the choice of the majority. Isn’t this part and parcel of democracy?
3. “Fresh controversy” is normal for the part of the Yellow Shirts and the minority opposition. They are only interested to spark more dramas for the scandal-hungry anti-Yingluck groups, who don’t want to see the Thai people practising the art of democratic process.
