Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) will closely monitor implementation of the government’s multi-billion-baht flood prevention projects. This was reported in the local media.
Curiously, the NACC should also focus on Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s spending of their allocation expenditure, especially the money spent on projects that has not been completed due to some reason or another.
Floods are a bad thing. It affects the people and businesses. Flood prevention is important, lives depend on it. People taking advantage of the flood-fears for profits must be punished and made an example for others.
